The text of the T-Shirt Prof. Bar-Shalom received as a gift for the Monterey Workshop from the French postdoc reads "I am not 60, but 18 with 42 years of experience". Here is the workshop report written by Prof. Willett (also appeared on March issue pp. 28-33).
 

At the banquet, in the heat of the roast, Prof. Bar-Shalom took off his jacket, tie, and shirt to reveal this to the (slight) astonishment of the organizers who thought he is going to put on a striptease act.
